How The Alberta Rural Renewal Stream Works
In simple terms, here is how the Alberta rural renewal stream works: Get a job in a designated community and from an accredited employer. The employer provides an endorsement letter, and you apply to the province of Alberta via the Alberta AAIP portal. Afterward, you register for express entry, and the Government of Alberta nominates you for the draw.
Candidates may be recruited from within Alberta, Canada, or outside of Canada.
The community partnership reviews candidate applications to ensure candidates meet all criteria, including program eligibility.
The employer provides a job offer to the successful candidate, and the community endorses the newcomer.
An endorsement letter is issued to the candidate chosen by the community for the Rural Renewal Stream.
The candidate submits their application through the AAIP Portal, ensuring all criteria for Rural Renewal Stream are met.
Make a non-refundable payment application fee for this stream. The application will be reviewed, and the candidate will be notified if they are eligible for nomination.
The nominee applies to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada for permanent residency.
